About The Position

This position supports the daily operations of the Customer Shipping department and requires flexibility to meet operational demands. Work schedules may vary depending on shipping volume and business needs. The role may require working in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer orders are processed and shipped on schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training or coursework in logistics, supply chain, or business administration is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment preferred
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or transportation coordination
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or shipping platforms
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience tracking, analyzing, or reporting operational data
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced operational environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt quickly to changing shipment priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues quickly
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mindset and willingness to support operational needs

Responsibilities

  • Shipping Administration – Support day-to-day administrative functions within the Customer Shipping department to ensure orders are processed, documented, and shipped accurately and on schedule.
  • Documentation & System Updates – Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, reports, and system updates related to outgoing customer orders while ensuring accurate data entry in shipping and inventory systems.
  • Communication & Coordination – Communicate shipment status, delivery timelines, and order updates with internal departments and external partners as needed.
  • Shipment Monitoring – Monitor order flow and assist in prioritizing shipments to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met.
  • Operational Reporting & Support – Track shipping metrics, assist with operational reporting, support supervisors and team leads with administrative tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.

  • Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
