Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
Basic computer skills for shipping transactions.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Good time management skills to meet shipping deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Problem-solving skills to address shipping issues or discrepancies.
Ability to operate company vehicles and material handling equipment.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 75+ pounds.

Responsibilities

Receive and review shipping orders to determine necessary goods and materials.
Weigh and transport materials to designated shipping areas.
Load shipments, ensuring orders are correctly stored and ready for dispatch.
Verify order accuracy and shipment details.
Use computer systems for shipping inquiries and transactions.
Stack or store finished goods from the manufacturing department in designated areas.
Drive company powered industrial vehicles for transporting freight, materials, and scrap.
Operate power lift trucks, hand trucks, and electric trucks for material handling.
Perform UPS shipments using the Manifest System.
Assist in stacking boxes on skids as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
