About The Position

The Shipper (1st shift) prepares orders for shipment to the customer. They are responsible for placing finished parts on the warehouse shelf and maintaining accurate scans into the AS400 of the location and quantity of parts stored and shipped. The shipper must review orders and gather the items needed to complete the order. S/he must be able to accurately identify product. A stand-up forklift is used to pull items from the shelf to be packaged onto a skid. Orders must be checked for accuracy The Shipper (1st shift) prepares orders for shipment to the customer. Requirements

Requires constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day)
Requires ability to operate mobile equipment such as forklift and Order Picker (up to 10 hours per day)
Ability to apply mathematical skills to accurately calculate product/boxes per skid
Repetitive use of both hands (up to 10 hours per day)
Repetitive reaching at and above shoulder level and bending at the waist
An awareness of surroundings
Ability to lift boxes and product weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop and twist
