Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership in accordance with established policies and procedures while focusing efforts to maximize productivity and safety within the distribution center.
• Manage the daily activities of the assigned work unit to include safety, engagement, training, performance and labor management, quality, and process/continuous improvement projects.
• Understand the labor standards for the assigned work areas.
• Analyze and report data relative to the standards to constantly improve quality and efficiency.
• Identify process improvement, make recommendations, and collaborate across the entire building operation to coordinate and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Monitory daily, weekly, and monthly production goals to ensure effective staffing and manpower utilization.
• Communicate and elevate concerns Regarding productivity and/or engineered standards to Operations Manager and Industrial Engineer.
• Consult and correspond with team leads or managers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications and/or standards.
