About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading a team of forklift operators. This role combines hands-on operational work with leadership responsibilities to ensure safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of forklift operators
• Operate a forklift to move and stack materials as needed
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
• Conduct equipment inspections and monitor maintenance schedules
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
• Assist with general warehouse operations to maintain workflow efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Track inventory and ensure accurate reporting of tasks and shipments
• Verify trailers and equipment are safe prior to loading
• Complete shipping documentation and system updates accurately
• Communicate effectively with clients, drivers, and team members
