About The Position

Recyclops, Inc. is in need of a 1st Shift Supervisor (7:00am - 3:30pm) to work under the Warehouse Manager at our Chicago warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment required.
• Ability to speak and write in English.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in warehouse management preferred.
• Proficient with technology, including inventory software, Google Workspace, and logistics software.
• Forklift operator certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of staff: Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Train staff as needed, including orientating new staff on warehouse policies and processes.
• Safety and compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Oversee overall sorting process, ensuring that associates are sorting accurately and efficiently.
• Complete truck intake form for each inbound truck.
• Complete electronic sorting form for each pallet.
• Check associates as they leave the facility.
• Manage meal breaks and rest breaks to ensure breaks are taken timely.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
