Responsibilities

Engage daily with team members to coordinate work activities and support operational goals
Interact professionally with customers to ensure service expectations are met
Foster a respectful, collaborative work environment through effective communication and teamwork
Evaluate current work processes and recommend improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Effectively manage deadline pressures while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude
Ensure customer product is stored, handled, and/or delivered in a timely, damage-free manner
Support shipping and receiving activities, including product movement, documentation, and accuracy checks
Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by management
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including inventory accuracy, controls, returns, and damage reporting
Understand how individual actions and decisions impact costs and overall profitability
Understand and apply the location’s safety strategy in daily work
Monitor work areas for safety issues and reinforce safe work practices through example
Facilitate driver training related to safety, procedures, and operational expectations
Participate in safety meetings and support safety initiatives
Present a positive, “can do” attitude when engaging with customers and internal partners
Understand location-specific customer goals and objectives
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and communicate recommendations
Facilitate driver training related to equipment use, processes, and compliance standards
Verify vehicles and equipment are in proper working order and report issues as needed
Complete and submit required maintenance documentation to the appropriate vendor (PTL, etc.)
Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly secured when not in service
