This Retail Shift Manager (Lead Pawn Broker) role is a full-time career opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package and a structured career path. New hires complete a 5-week paid training program, earning a $.50 raise and transitioning to Lead Pawnbroker. Leadership skills are enhanced through structured training, with a path to a 12-week Store Manager in Training program. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, building relationships, promoting sales, and making deals on pawn items. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 years of supervisory, key holder, or team/shift lead experience
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Possess an engaging personality
  • Solid leadership
  • Strong negotiation talents
  • Ability to read and manage customer needs
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent judgment
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build solid ongoing customer relationships

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers
  • Promote sales and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items
  • Lead and influence Team Members around you through coaching and hands-on involvement
  • Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that clearly sets EZPAWN apart from the competition
  • Process loans and extensions
  • Come to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned
  • Perform opening and closing store procedures
  • Supervise and coach store Team Members
