The dining room is designed to be welcoming with smiling faces, table service, and a bright, cheerful atmosphere. The company is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee the restaurant's operational performance during their shift. This role involves creating employee schedules, supervising staff, and assigning duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with prior restaurant experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous food service experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed
• Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
• Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
• Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary
• Cover the shifts of absent employees
