About The Position

The Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership coverage and managing store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director. This role involves receiving merchandise according to company policies and procedures, preparing products for merchandising, efficiently and effectively breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, building displays with packaged products, greeting guests on the salesfloor, and assisting them with finding items. The Shift Manager also provides guidance and direction to team members throughout the store to ensure smooth operation during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership coverage
• Managing store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director
• Receiving merchandise according to company policies and procedures
• Preparing product to go out to the floor for merchandising
• Efficiently and effectively breaking down deliveries
• Stocking the shelves
• Building displays with packaged products
• Greeting guests on the salesfloor
• Assisting guests with finding items they are looking for
• Providing guidance and direction to team members throughout the store to ensure smooth operation throughout their shift
