About The Position
At Five Guys, Shift Managers are trained to perform all duties of Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with the added responsibility of directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence. This includes ensuring compliance with company standards across all operational areas such as product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and inventory management. Five Guys is committed to serving outstanding burgers and fries in clean restaurants with top-tier customer service. The company offers a balanced work/life schedule, with most locations operating from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and no drive-thrus. There are significant career growth opportunities, with plans to open over 1000 new locations across North America and an emphasis on promoting from within. Additionally, the role includes eligibility for a Secret Shopper bonus plan, where team members working during secret shop visits can earn bonuses based on performance.

Responsibilities
- Directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence
- Ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management
- Performing all of the duties preformed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders
