This role, Retail Shift Manager (Lead Pawn Broker), is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and a structured career path. New team members complete an initial 5-week paid training program, earning a raise and transitioning to Lead Pawnbroker. Further leadership training programs and a 12-week Store Manager in Training program are available for career advancement. As a Retail Shift Manager, the primary focus is providing outstanding customer service, building relationships, promoting sales, and making deals on pawn items. This role offers career growth in a retail setting, connecting with the community, and leading and coaching other Team Members to create a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers
  • Promote sales and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items
  • Lead and influence Team Members around you through coaching and hands-on involvement
  • Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that clearly sets EZPAWN apart from the competition
  • Processing loans and extensions
  • Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned
  • Performing opening and closing store procedures
  • Supervising and coaching store Team Members
