About The Position

As a Shift Manager Surveillance, you will lead the team responsible for protecting the integrity of our gaming operations while ensuring the safety of our guests, employees, and company assets. Serving as the eyes and ears of the property, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Surveillance team, ensuring all activities align with departmental procedures, company policies, and Gaming Commission regulations. In this leadership role, you will guide and develop Surveillance Operators, oversee investigative activities, and maintain the high standards that keep our gaming environment secure, fair, and compliant.

Requirements

  • Brings 2+ years of gaming and/or surveillance experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of casino games, slot operations, cage procedures, and gaming regulations
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail and investigative thinking

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Surveillance Lead Operators and Operators during assigned shifts
  • Oversee CCTV monitoring operations, investigative reviews, and daily surveillance reporting
  • Ensure accurate documentation of observations, incidents, and investigative findings
  • Review video related to jackpots, guest complaints, procedural concerns, theft incidents, and risk management matters
  • Maintain proper handling, storage, and preservation of surveillance evidence and video files
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Gaming Commission representatives and outside regulatory agencies during incidents or investigations
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of casino games, game protection, cheating methods, and advantage play techniques
  • Train and mentor Surveillance Operators while maintaining departmental Standard Operating Procedures
  • Coordinate shift schedules and ensure proper coverage across the surveillance floor
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members, provide coaching, and address performance concerns
  • Support hiring efforts, participate in interviews, and assist with team development and promotions
  • Partner with technical teams to report and resolve surveillance equipment issues
