About The Position

Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN. JOB SUMMARYThe Surveillance Shift Manager will conduct surveillance and ensure that team members are monitoring operations. The Surveillance Shift Manager is responsible for ensuring a high level of work has been completed for their assigned shift.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. Requirements

  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity.

  • Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of surveillance experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
  • Performs close watch duties as assigned.
  • Maintains up-to-the-minute, detailed, and accurate logs.
  • Responds to calls requesting the need for surveillance coverage.
  • Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Diligently monitors all company assets as well as monitors all employees for procedural violations.
  • Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Conducts surveillance through the CCTV system utilizing the necessary equipment to observe, report, and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
  • Ensures that Team Members are monitoring the operation of automated bill breakers, gaming vouchers, coupon redemption, and jackpot payout machines.
  • Ensures that Team Members are monitoring the operation of the count room and the video recording of movements of cash, slot cash storage boxes, and table game drop boxes.
  • The detection of the presence of any individual who may or is required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility or is self-excluded from the gaming floor and gaming activities at all licensed facilities.
  • Responsible for accurate and efficient operation of procedures within a designated department.
  • Verify all permanently saved footage is accurate per the report.
  • Enforces department procedures by observing and reporting any failure to comply with company policy or gaming regulation.
  • Working knowledge of CMS application, including but not limited to the following: Cage & Pit menu (customer status inquiries), Credit, Marketing & Players Club, and Self Exclusion display.
  • Conducts digital video reviews as assigned.
  • Documents equipment malfunctions.
  • Responsible for accurate and complete reports during shift.
  • Must complete all required company training.
  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
