About The Position

Shift Leader Position Summary:The Shift Leader is responsible for managing all day-to-day functions of the restaurant. He/she always looks to improve to achieve the highest standards in the customer experience, employee experience, and financial goals. The SL should be passionate about the food service industry, and seeks to motivate a team to extend the same passion to our guests. Job responsibilities include managing, supervising and training front and back of house team members, overseeing the quality of our food offerings, scheduling, and inventory control.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of basic business fundamentals including full understanding of P&L and COGS statements
Ensuring all productivity numbers, budgets, and sales are met
Build and motivate crew members by example, exemplifying the core values, passion, and culture of PokeWorks
Applying financial tools and analyzing financial reports to identify trends as well as addressing issues in store performance
Ensure positive customer experiences
Lead, train, coach, and counsel team members
Maintaining knowledge of surrounding competitive market place for store development, marketing, and community outreach purposes
Maintaining direct communications with local vendors
Resolve guest issues effectively to ensure positive guest experience
Ensure high quality of food preparation and customer service consistent with Pokeworks' requirements and procedures
Ensure all operating activities follow company standards and procedures
Execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards and equipment maintenance guidelines
Ensure the safety of guests and team members
