Requirements

  • Safety conscious
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak, read and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
  • Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Follow all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  • Know and follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Cover Supervisor responsibilities when they have time off or absent.
  • Assist and train in production activities to help ensure it is running smoothly, and quality is being met.
  • Help with the training in sanitation and chemicals.
  • Watch for and enforce safety procedures around the plant.
  • Support and bring ideas to help create and support management decisions.
  • Promote a positive work environment, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for compliance with production standards and product yields and communication of results to team members.
  • Know the proper way to assemble all equipment in area, be available to help at any time.
  • Properly inspect all machines before Pre-op
