The Shift Lead is responsible for store operations in the absence of store management, encompassing all aspects from opening and closing procedures, system start-ups, and cash handling, to ensuring the store floor and stock room are prepared for daily business. This role is pivotal in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers, resolving issues, and coaching team members on service best practices. Operationally, the Shift Lead manages deliveries, processes product returns, voids, and refunds, maintains accurate inventory counts, implements pricing changes, assists with display development, and ensures the store's cleanliness and compliance with all company policies and local regulations. Additionally, the Shift Lead serves as a liaison between management and non-management team members, communicating tasks and reporting disciplinary issues or customer complaints.
