About The Position

As a Team Member, you will be an ambassador of the Ladybird and our core values. You will be an integral part of the guest experience, through the face‐to‐face guest interaction. You are the face of Ladybird Taco to our guests. You will report to the General Manager and Assistant Assistant General Manager, and will be empowered to make your own decisions that create the best experience for our guests. You will be responsible for crafting thoughtful and personalized experiences for our guests from greeting them, taking their order with supreme accuracy, making their drinks, and delivering a life-giving experience. We encourage our team members to be well-rounded team players, willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to keep your store running smoothly! No matter what position you start in with us, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and will be tasked to take on different positions within our team.

Requirements

  • Food, Restaurant, Team and/or Customer Service experience
  • At least 1 year leadership experience in this or a similar service industry
  • A team player with a positive can-do attitude
  • Quick and adaptable learner
  • Excellent and collaborative communication skills
  • A knack for delivering personable customer service and a desire to make connections with guests everyday
  • Accountable in upholding high standards
  • Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
  • Able to multitask and lead FOH and BOH on a shift, while also working a position
  • Ability to read and comprehend information at a close range at a close range, and follow instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to use electronic systems, such as computers and tablets.
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds and, stand for long periods of time
  • Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • Subject to exposure to cleaning chemicals

Responsibilities

  • opening the store personally often (mostly opening or closing, occasionally both on the same shift)
  • leading completion of checklists for opening and closing, holding those on shift accountable to standards of those checklists
  • directing positional shifts or adjustments as needed during a shift
  • during the week often working expo, on weekends sometimes other positions
  • taking inventory and entering vendors orders
  • tasting food at the beginning shift
  • leading cleaning and organizing during shift (starting with daily deep clean tasks)
  • point of contact for guests with issues or needs, solving their problems or passing them on to GM
  • filling out EOD honestly and clearly for a good report of the day
  • leading closing of store
