Shift Lead – Attractions - Allegan Event
About The Position

At Allegan Event, we’re looking for a dependable Shift Lead / Key Holder to help run day-to-day operations on our attractions, including our indoor ropes course and climbing walls. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the team, take care of guests, and take full ownership of opening and closing the facility. If you like staying active, working with people, and being trusted to run a shift from start to finish, this is a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Strong reliability and accountability—you show up and follow through
- Comfortable leading peers and making decisions when managers aren’t on-site
- Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership, shift lead, or key holder experience preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the facility, including unlocking/locking doors, alarms, and beginning and end-of-day procedures
- Act as the key holder on duty, responsible for the building and team during your shift
- Lead the team on shift and set the tone for guest service and safety
- Ensure all attractions are operating safely and SOPs are followed
- Handle guest questions, issues, and basic escalations
- Support cash handling, drawer counts, and basic reporting as needed
- Communicate clearly with managers and document any incidents or concerns
