If this is you, come and impress us, and be a part of a winning team. Coordinate maintenance activities for Technicians throughout the facility. Be responsible for all associates in TEF, during the specified shift. Must have great interpersonal skills and a desire to lead others. Will be responsible for maintaining the appropriate Bosch Production System Standards and 6S Standards. Manage and track vacation requests of associates. Approve / reject vacation requests to ensure to meet production requirements according to the local policy. Required to maintain a positive work environment by following the appropriate safety procedures. Prioritize machine repair in accordance with machine criticality structure, maintaining the productivity of the facility on all lines. Communicate overtime announcement and create/coordinate the overtime schedule. Update and track the daily exception report for the time analyst. Manage qualification process and matrix. Support with investigations and provide performance input to the supervisor. Coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance Planner and direct technicians to complete PMs as assigned. Complete turnover activities at the beginning and end of each shift to provide continuity of repair/support of production equipment. Handle and resolve issues as they arise – escalate issues to management when necessary. Ensure that techs are completing and closing work orders and charging all time worked to the appropriate cost center. Provide coaching and direction to junior technicians Provide performance data for each subordinate/assist in preparing annual review. Work as technician when not performing Shift Coordinator duties, as outlined below: Troubleshooting and repair of complex manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Perform the installation of new production equipment along with the project team over the first several months of the job; may require travel for training. Learn to assemble and test specific machine designs and set up new machines locally. Work within a cross functional team to reach the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets post installation of new machinery. This includes performing preventive maintenance and inspections as well as unplanned maintenance. Support the continuous improvement activities, including recommendations and implementation of ideas. For example, improvements in the design of machine components, tooling, fixtures, etc. for better safety, reduced downtime, increased lifetime, reduced costs, etc. Develop and perform training of associates for the setup and operation of production equipment such as lasers, grinders, welders and surface finishing equipment. Record accurate job data and all work time in computer maintenance management system
