As a Shift/Charge Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with mobility needs and daily living activities, including housekeeping, bathing, grooming, and routine personal tasks. You will also assist in scheduling caregivers, supervise the medication program, act as a liaison with residents, their families, and physicians, and solve problems in partnership with community leaders and your team. The role includes on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Requirements
- State-issued nurse license required
- Must be Licensed Vocational Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing
Responsibilities
- Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with mobility needs and daily living activities, including housekeeping, bathing, grooming, and routine personal tasks
- Assist in scheduling of caregivers and supervising of medication program
- Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents and their families and physicians
- Solve problems and exhibit ethical behavior in partnership with community leaders and your team
- Receive on-the-job training and have opportunities for career growth and advancement
