This employee will perform clerical support services for the Eddy County Sheriffs Office in Carlsbad and the Artesia Sub-Office. The Records Clerk will enter reports, records, and civil documentation in support of law enforcement activities. The job will require a variety of typing ranging from hand-written letters, to brief instructions or directions, to composing letters from own knowledge of a situation or from file information. Required documentation compositions may include memos and transcriptions, in addition to other interdepartmental correspondence. Employee must perform all duties with minimal supervision and may be required to work irregular hours, attend job related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
