This position reports to the Community Services Director and is responsible for the coordination and progress of the cooperative geographic information system, rural addressing, floodplain management, subdivision regulations and planning. The employee will assign addresses in Eddy County to meet National Emergency Numbers Association (NENA), US Postal Service, and 911 database requirements, and duties include, but are not limited to, assigning new addresses as requested by property owners. This position must perform all duties with minimal supervision. Employee may be required to work irregular hour, attend job related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
