You will utilize your skills in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation techniques to assist clients through their challenges, working closely with them to resolve conflicts and navigate their day-to-day lives in the shelter. Ongoing professional development and training will be provided to support your growth in these areas. In addition to client interaction, you'll help manage daily shelter operations, including cleaning, organizing, and meal setups. Strong communication is key, as you will report observations and incidents to the shelter leadership team to ensure proper follow-up. By creating a calm, structured environment, you'll be making a lasting impact on the lives of the individuals we serve.
