About The Position

The Sheetmetal Leadman Objective is to ensure that employees are correctly fabricating, installing and adhering to safety standards, IAW all drawing, core, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Must possess some welding knowledge skills
• Must be able to troubleshoot sheetmetal issues to include furniture, nonstructural bulkheads and ventilation ducting
• Must be able to read blue prints, specs, drawing, sketches, & manuals
• Must be able to speak and understand Basic English
• Must have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience and/or qualified experience.
• Must present a valid export document. Acceptable documents are U.S. Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, Passport, Passport Card and Permanent Resident Card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that employees possess proper skills & training
• Creates Matrix’s for work flow
• Creates Material Requisitions
• Ensures that TIPS are followed
• Ensures that employees are fabricating & installing per Specifications, Standard Items, and Manuals
• Ensures employees are carefully filling out time charges
• Accomplish Inspection Deficiency Report (IDR) submission and review.
• Must adhere to a promote ALL company safety policies. Wear all required PPE when in Production areas and promote a clean and safe work environment.
