About The Position

In this opportunity as a Sheeter Operator , you will: Operate paper sheeter machinery to convert rolls into sheets for press operations Monitor production schedules and prioritize sheeting orders and requisitions Inspect paper stock for defects, damage, and quality issues Set up and adjust equipment including slitters, anvils, belts, and joggers Input specifications such as paper size, length, and caliber into ERP and machine systems Ensure sheet accuracy by checking for squareness and consistency at the start of runs Optimize production efficiency by combining jobs and minimizing downtime Utilize existing sheeted inventory when applicable to reduce waste Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with Purchasing when stock is low Perform routine maintenance including blade changes, adjustments, and equipment upkeep Maintain accurate production records, logs, and labeling of finished goods Train and support team members as needed

Requirements

  • Experience as a Sheeter Operator, Paper Cutter, or in a related manufacturing role
  • Strong knowledge of paper converting, printing, or packaging processes
  • Experience using ERP systems and production machinery interfaces
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and technical documents
  • Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and measurements
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
  • Experience operating: Forklifts and clamp trucks Banding and strapping equipment Stretch wrapping machines Optical scanners
