About The Position

Sheridan is seeking a dedicated, mechanical and detail-oriented Sheeter Operator to join our team at our Brainerd, MN facility. In this vital role, you will be a key part of our Pressroom staff, responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks. The Sheeter Operator is responsible for setting up and operating paper sheeting equipment to produce high-quality products while meeting maximum productivity targets. This role ensures adherence to production schedules to minimize downtime and maintain efficient workflow.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to read and understand written instructions.

Nice To Haves

Prior continuous work experience.
Prior experience using pallet jack, computer, hand tools and small machines.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor sheeting machinery to ensure efficient production.
Perform routine equipment maintenance to support optimal machine performance.
Change blades as needed to maintain product quality and safety standards.
Troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
Ensure all work produced meets or exceeds established quality guidelines.
Meet all production specifications and productivity targets.
Read and interpret job ticket instructions accurately.
Complete all required paperwork and enter status updates accurately and on time.
Record all labor time and material usage correctly.
Band and tag all finished products according to company standards.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Follow all safety procedures, including job hazard analysis requirements.
