About The Position

​​​​The Sheeter Operator is responsible for supporting efficient, high-quality production by operating sheeting lines, assisting with mixing operations, and ensuring products meet established specifications.​​​

Requirements

• Able to read, understand, and strictly follow written procedures
• Good understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)
• Must be able to detect audible tones
• Must be organized and maintain work area to a high level of cleanliness
• Able to identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary
• Must be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team members
• Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
• Follow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervision
• Required to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per day
• Lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
• Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis
• Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on an occasional basis
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis
• Possess manual dexterity
• English comprehension skills
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Must have demonstrated a good work record and attendance

Responsibilities

• Operate sheeting lines efficiently while consistently meeting quality and production standards
• Partner with Maintenance to ensure optimal mechanical performance of sheeting equipment, minimizing downtime and material waste
• Perform product quality checks and make adjustments to raw dough in coordination with mixing operations to ensure specifications are met
• Support and provide coverage for mixing operations during high-volume periods and scheduled breaks, including batch preparation, raw material handling, equipment cleaning, and minor system maintenance
• Accurately complete and maintain required production and operational reports
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production operations
