About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheetmetal Technicians for projects located in & around Newport News, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40.97/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly Use small hand tools, electric drills, grinders, rivet guns, shop equipment, drill press, press, etc. Assemble, piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner Rigging, material handling Working from heights & in a fast paced environment
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, sketches, weld symbols, material types & reference lines
- Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions as with the use of a ruler
- Must be comfortable working from heights
