From your favorite local haunt to the largest global chain restaurant, our products are beloved for their innovation, ease of use and reliability. 1st Shift: 5:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday $25.00/hour 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-12:00am Monday-Friday $25.00/hour with a $3.00/hour shift differential Monday-Friday with overtime, including Saturdays may be worked regularly and are an expectation of employment. This job is performed in our Sheet Metal Department. The candidate for this position will perform daily operations for the punch/laser/brake machines in the manufacturing of commercial cooking equipment

Requirements

  • The right candidate for this position will have the ability to perform first piece, tenth piece, and final inspections to print.
  • They will ensure a quality product by remaining within tolerance consistently.
  • Operators must possess the ability to count and verify part numbers on the work orders.
  • They must also have the ability to access QMS system and manufacturing resource planning system as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area, including aisles, tooling, and machines is a must.
  • They will have the ability to work independently on a single punch press or laser, as assigned, and cross train in other work areas and have the ability to rotate in and out of consistently for better flexibility.
  • This is a safety sensitive position therefore a drug test is a requirement of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Use labor-reporting system to track all personal direct-labor time spent on all jobs accompanied by a work order or routing paperwork.
  • Log in and out of programming systems promptly.
  • Install punches and dies according to programming.
  • Read and interpret blue prints and exploded views as required.
  • Change gas bottles and monitor gas bottle levels on lasers, if needed.
  • Load sheet metal onto machines.
  • Cut and debur sheet metal according to prints.
  • Deliver completed products with work order to stock racks.
  • Clean machines and lubricate as needed.
  • Position, align, and secure work against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies.
