About The Position
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for operating the shear machine.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, and stoop.
- Close vision and good hearing required.
- Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations.
- Must participate in group stretching prior to shift.
- Must be applicable to all JHA’s.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the shearing process which enhances the carpet’s finish.
- Monitor the lint house for proper operation.
- Monitor all accumulators and carpet guides.
- Must fill in as technician as needed.
