About The Position
Industrial Metal Supply Phoenix (35th St./Southern) Shear Machine Saw Operator - 2nd Shift Hours: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM Monday to Friday (with one Saturday per month paid at overtime rates) Working in the fast-paced warehouse you will learn our business from the ground up, pulling metal and helping get it packaged and ready for customers. Requirements
- Forklift experience is required
- At least 1year of experience with industrial machinery (saws / CNC / hydraulic equipment, etc)
- Experience with various measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometer) is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a metal fabrication shop a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform cutting and shaping tasks as per work orders.
- Quality inspections: Ensure parts meet specifications and standards.
- Routine maintenance: Conduct inspections and maintenance of equipment to maintain efficiency.
- Team collaboration: Assist less experienced operators and work closely with production teams.
- Safety compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
