Requirements

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
  • The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of web development experience using current Web development and graphic tools, as well as, Web Server and database administration.
  • The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience designing, developing and deploying Web sites and/or Web applications, including product selection, configuration, installation, maintenance, and site specific Web development languages and relational databases.
  • Min Citizenship Status Required: H 1B

Responsibilities

  • Address issues with web parts and build new web parts to support compliance and initiatives (e.g., calendar enhancement)
  • Customize web parts for interactive requests and specific needs of MDH staff (e.g., SharePoint automatic email updates)
  • Identify and assist with remediating site vulnerabilities
  • Troubleshoot and provide support to SharePoint site content publishers
  • Provide consultation and support for special projects
  • Support the administration of SharePoint public-facing websites
  • Update links and content for COVID-19 website
  • Identify and assist with page workflows
  • Perform Quality Assurance to ensure completeness of patching activities on SharePoint 2019 websites.
  • Update, replace, and/or add software platforms (e.g., SharePoint versions, 3rd party tools, and O365 applications). Coordination with DoIT is required to complete this task.
  • Support the development of process documentation and step-by-step resources
  • Advance potential site migration activities
  • Address tickets and resolve issues
