About The Position

As a SharePoint developer, you translate enterprise-wide business data and information requirements into SharePoint functionality and automation to design, document, create, test, implement and support O365 solutions, SharePoint and Team sites, web parts, workflows, and dashboards, and to provide SharePoint content that enables and enhances the collection, curation, transmission, publication, accessibility, use, and management of knowledge to the Military Health community. As a developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and resources to overcome your clients’ most difficult challenges. You’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements. You’ll collaborate with your team as you code and deliver solutions that support the current architecture and operating environment, as well as support future functionality and enhancements. What You'll Do: Analyze business and information requirements and designing SharePoint content prototypes and solutions Determine overall design and structure of SharePoint content Create SharePoint content solutions using Microsoft O365, Power Automate, Flow, Power BI, InfoPath, and SharePoint Designer Design user interfaces within the SharePoint Intranet environment Work with customers to test SharePoint content against requirements Monitor and assure quality, functionality, security, and integrity of SharePoint content Write and maintain documentation of SharePoint content Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with the design and delivery of SharePoint content Collect and analyze SharePoint content use and performance statistics Provide design and delivery advice to SharePoint content providers Apply information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of SharePoint content Work with us to develop systems that create change for the better. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and making minor changes to existing applications or keeping those systems working in a sustainment mode
  • Experience of O365 Development, such as SharePoint, PowerApps, or Flows
  • Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
  • Experience creating and testing modules and components for compliance with design specifications
  • Experience developing and testing interfaces between software products and products of other vendors
  • Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and APIs
  • Ability to develop detailed program specifications and programs for software components and participate in design and code reviews and address findings
  • Ability to create solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in software development, or 5+ years of experience in software development in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with legacy enterprise systems and working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJS, or PHP
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Products, Microsoft Windows Server, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of source control, such as GIT
