About The Position

The SharePoint Administrator is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the firm’s SharePoint Online platform to support effective collaboration and information management across departments, as well as administering and supporting the SharePoint Online platform and the organization’s intranet. This role will be located in our Downtown Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Requirements

  • Exhibit a strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and functionality, including security and compliance best practices
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of PowerShell and the commands to manage SharePoint Online
  • Possess strong knowledge of SharePoint 2019 On-Premises versions
  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field, preferably
  • A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in SharePoint Online Administration
  • A minimum of two (2) years of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of SQL server experience
  • Relevant experience with SharePoint 2019 in a professional services environment

Responsibilities

  • Managing global rights and permissions regarding the SPO sites
  • Providing operational support to SharePoint sites in the production environment
  • Monitoring portal usage, including access, load, and usability issues daily
  • Planning and implementing multiple disaster recovery strategies
  • Providing training for IT operators and customers
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
