About The Position

Agile Defense is looking for SharePoint Administrator to support a federal law enforcement client’s Open Source Intelligence Program focused on detecting threats to specific people, locations, and events. The ability of the program to effectively operate and to identify threats relies on effective internal and external coordination enabled by technology, such as SharePoint. As a SharePoint Administrator, you will use your skills to create and maintain both internal and external-facing SharePoint sites. The sites developed by you will be used to enable processes, more effectively communicate program information, and integrate SharePoint with other applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may include SharePoint support, requirements management, and project management.
  • Solid understanding of SharePoint administration concepts and best practices.
  • Experience customizing SharePoint sites.
  • Experience utilizing integrating SharePoint lists and workflows with the Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power Automate, Power BI) and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Experience with SharePoint templates forms, lists, libraries, configuration, and web parts.
  • Understanding of SharePoint security and permissions management.
  • Must be highly organized with attention to detail and commitment to high quality deliverables.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated critical thinking skills to resolve incidents quickly and consistently.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and changes in priorities. Ability to prioritize workload based on client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with integrating SharePoint workflows with MS Teams.
  • Prior SharePoint administration experience for the government or military.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and understand operational needs for SharePoint sites.
  • Ability to forward-lean and proactively recommend solutions that would address technology gaps and workflow pain points specific to the customers use cases.
  • Ensure that SharePoint design is in line with the branding goals of the office.
  • Translate verbal or written requests into visual deliverables with flexibility for back and forth collaboration with requester to meet the final goal.
  • Create customized SharePoint sites (without coding), ensuring usability, functionality, and responsiveness.
  • Create and modify site templates, forms, lists, libraries, and web parts.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other business applications, such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly and professional manner, address routine user inquiries, and support end user training as needed.
  • Assist in data migration and content management tasks, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Perform routine updates to SharePoint sites to maintain usability and functionality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Receive, document, prioritize, escalate, and track user questions and requests.
  • Resolve inquiries and provide direct responses to users throughout the organization via phone, Microsoft Teams chat, or email in a quick and timely manner.
  • Utilize deductive reasoning to identify and debug system-wide technical problems.
