About The Position

Sewing Operator 1 must be able to operate a sewing machine in a safe efficient manner. Sewing Operator 1 needs to be able to perform basic functions such as change bobbin, run thread, change program, fill bobbin, change needle, and oil machine. Sewing Operator 1 requires operators to feed buckles, fold webbing, and align materials to sew to a specification.

Requirements

Must have High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year equivalent work experience
Must be able to sit for 8-10 hour per day
Must be able to perform repetitive motion using arms, hands, and wrists.
Basic Measuring Skills
Good hand eye coordination
Industrial Sewing

Responsibilities

Feed Thread
Fill Bobbin
Change Bobbin
Follow folding/feeding directions
Load buckles onto Webbing
Operate Sewing Machine
Hit production standards for given part
Perform basic maintenance on machinery such as oiling machine, changing needles, and changing feet.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ability to learn and operate hot webbing cutter
Other production positions within organization if sewing isn't required.
