About The Position
Simpson, a leading manufacturer in racing safety products, has an opening for a full-time Production Sewer to work first shift at its New Braunfels, TX facility. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with sewing experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
Requirements
- Sewing experience preferred but will train if individual is open minded and has a strong desire to learn
- Organized with high attention to detail
- Dependable with excellent attendance record
- Ability to work in busy environment
- Available to work extended hours and some Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
- Sews various types of fabrics and/or webbing material using manual and automatic sewing machines
- Maintains sewing equipment and clean work station
- Cuts fabric using hand held cutters and clicker press as needed
- Performs light assembly as required
- Adheres to all safety rules/regulations
