About The Position

The ideal Sewer/Presser provides each customer with the best possible service through the quality of their craft. This role involves performing and completing sewer and pressing tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards. The individual will be responsible for executing workload, following through on customer needs, and completing items on time, while also meeting department and individual productivity goals by adhering to proper processes and procedures. The position requires utilizing store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs and delivering customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration within the Alterations & Store Team.

Requirements

Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers
The ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment
A willingness to learn, and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery, and standard alterations equipment
The ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs

Nice To Haves

Previous sewing and pressing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
