JOB SUMMARY The Settlement Specialist is a part of the company's Sports Trading organization. We pride ourselves in empowering each other to do our best work, and as Settlement Specialist, you will be focused on creating, pricing, publishing, suspending, and resulting sports data and payment disputes that arise during live sports games in a fast, friendly, and transparent manner. We will enable you to do your best work and drive efficiencies in your own portfolio of games – you’ll be an expert on such topics and your input will be invaluable to our team. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Run your own docket of live games and markets to ensure rapid, accurate resulting of all games that require manual resulting. Monitor automatic feeds and leverage your quick thinking to solve issues that arise with feeds that go down or data inaccuracies that come through. Rapidly respond to internal stakeholders such as Customer Services and Trading with clear, transparent, and helpful information. Become the resident expert in applicable legislation and Gambling Commission requirements and ensure steadfast compliance with such policies. Flex your resourcefulness and quick thinking to solve critical errors that arise and respond to evolving game situations to ensure customers can reinvest funds as soon as possible. Identify opportunities for improvement in standard operating processes and cadences to drive efficiencies in output and improve customer satisfaction. Escalate risks, issues, and complaints that arise early and partner with Settlement and Trading leadership to provide rapid solutions.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage portfolio of games across short and varied timelines
  • Has a people-first attitude and enjoys helping customers and colleagues solve problems and achieve success
  • Fast responder who recognizes high level of urgency required for resulting tasks as well as issue resolution
  • Detail-oriented learner who can understand and clearly explain industry regulations, how it applies to each case, and how to communicate to maximize transparency to our Customer Service reps
  • Agile problem solver who has a natural orientation towards understanding how to resolve issues and remain flexible in times of pressure
  • Relentlessly dedicated towards the improvement of day-to-day work and operations by pursuing best practice, efficient processes
  • Early, excellent escalator with a keen awareness of potential risks and mitigation options
  • Passion for sports and working knowledge of the betting industry
  • Available to work between 7am – 11pm Monday to Sunday, includes Bank Holidays.
  • THIS POSITION IS OFFICE-BASED (NO REMOTE OPPORTUNITY)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods
  • Regular attendance in the office
