About The Position

This position consists of assembling and adjusting the tension of springs on equipment. It will also include the installation of other miscellaneous items to the equipment and testing for proper functionality. This is a fast-paced job that requires a good deal of climbing and lifting.

Requirements

Punctual
Communicate clearly with others
Must be familiar with and proficient with the use of hand and power tools
Must be able to read job file orders and enter data efficiently into the tracking system
Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch
Able to read and write
Ability to work with basic hand tools
Must be able to pass basic math test
Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16” increments
Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Able to bend, stoop, and climb
Able to work while standing on concrete for up to 12 hours a day
Able to endure climate changes (hot and cold)
Ability to work in all weather conditions as job requires working inside and outside through the course of a single shift
Ability to work in the natural element of heat and cold (production facility is not heated in winter nor cooled in summer)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work scheduled shifts
Ability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work on concrete for up to twelve hours per day up to six (6) days per week
Must be able to work at heights of greater than 6 feet on a regular basis/as work dictates
Ability to work overtime when necessary/required and with short notice

Responsibilities

Maintain stock inventory
Prepare equipment for shipping
Must be able to work at a safe and productive pace
Must be able to work scheduled shifts and extra hours when needed
Demonstrate proficiency with basic math and print reading
Assemble units that meet our QC standards
Work safely and follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Maintain a clean work area.
Demonstrate a familiarity with hand tools, such as drill motors and grinders
Follows priority processes and maintains records as needed
Able to read and write
Able to follow instructions
Demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 increments
