Press and Weld Set up Whirlpool is seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals with a strong background in hydraulic, mechanical, and automatic stamping presses, coil feed systems, automated grinders, and automated weld equipment.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment setup or maintenance in high pace manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Equipment Setup: Calibrating presses, adjusting die settings, and programming welders.
Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials.
Welding Operations: Operating various welding equipment to meet specified standards.
Operate and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Quality Control: Inspecting materials, welds, and finished products for accuracy.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and ensuring a safe work environment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving equipment or process issues.
Communication: Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Read and understand complex part prints.
Performing calculations
Managing inventory
Assisting with projects
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
