About The Position

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Set-Up Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our production equipment running efficiently, supporting operators, and driving continuous improvement out on the production floor. What You'll Do: Perform machine repairs and adjustments to maintain quality and uptime Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Set up and complete machine changeovers to ensure smooth production runs Monitor machine performance and implement improvements to achieve 95% productivity Use tracking tools (Takt Boards, Productivity Sheets) to identify and address performance issues Communicate regularly with technical team members, scheduling and leadership about machine status, priorities and quality concerns Troubleshoot operator issues and recommend process improvements Assist with machine operation and material handling when needed Support LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement activities Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment Hours: Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Put on rotation schedule to work a Saturday and cover for opener (about once every 3-5 weeks) Available for weekly / weekend overtime as needed Additional Information: Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen if offered the role.

Requirements

  • Experience working with electrical sensors, PLC's, servo motors, servo drives, hydraulic and mechanical functions
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial machinery
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to support production needs, including hands-on machine operations
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
  • HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of applied related training and experience
