About The Position

Conference Set-Up Attendant (PM Shift) We are looking for a highly motivated Conference Set-Up Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will help direct the setup and preparation of conference and banquet rooms for events, as well as clear and tear down spaces at the conclusion of functions. This position plays a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences at a world-class property. Schedule: This is a PM shift, typically 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM/11:30 PM, based on business needs. Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions

  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, with intermittent walking and stair climbing
  • Frequently lift and carry: Up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height Up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push 100-150 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat, push, and pull on a frequent basis

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and arrange conference and banquet equipment according to event orders and Conference Services standards
  • Set up, refresh, and break down meeting rooms, ballrooms, and event spaces
  • Perform daily, thorough cleaning of classrooms, ballrooms, and team rooms, including:
  • Removal of trash from meeting spaces
  • Restocking of meeting room supplies
  • Refresh meeting rooms during meal periods and coffee breaks
  • Move convention materials (boxes, programs, etc.) from receiving docks, registration areas, guest rooms, or suites
  • Bus tables and reset spaces as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned by department management
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally to create an outstanding experience
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with culinary and stewarding teams
  • Maintain awareness of all functions, meetings, and events taking place throughout the property
