About The Position

As an Intern supporting the Services & Solutions strategy team at Cencora, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic business environment. This internship will equip you with essential skills in analytical thinking, problem solving, market research, innovation, strategy and forecasting while working closely with a mentor. Over the course of our 10-week summer program, an intern will engage in various projects, gain insights into strategic global sourcing (SGS), and present your key accomplishments and learnings to various SGS teams at the end of the internship. This position will involve collaboration with various departments and will require an onsite presence at our Conshohocken office.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business (or other related majors will be considered).
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a keen interest in innovative thinking and research and development.
• Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data and generate actionable insights.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Understanding of data analytics and research.
• Eager to learn, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of various SGS processes and their impact on the business.
• Work alongside teams in pricing, data analytics, marketing, marketplace operations, and category management to support strategy development.
• Assist in analyzing market trends, tools, processes, and presenting findings to the team.
• Building and presenting effective presentations that incorporate market findings and recommendations to various teams for consideration.
• Work on designated projects, demonstrating the ability to manage time effectively and deliver results independently.
