About The Position

The Services Sales Associate is a developmental role within Storr's Services Division, designed to build strong foundational sales skills while making an immediate impact on revenue growth and operational efficiency. Over a 12-18 month development period, this role supports day-to-day sales activities, manages smaller service opportunities, assists with proposals and marketing content, and gains exposure to the full breadth of Storr's service offerings-including Records Management, Commercial Moves, Cleaning, Construction Services, and Storage. The initial focus of this role will be on developing new Records Management business, providing hands-on experience with the sales process, customer discovery, and operational coordination needed to grow this segment successfully. The Services Sales Associate reports directly to the Vice President of Services and is expected to progress into a Services Sales Representative role within approximately 12-18 months, based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • 2-4 year degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior sales or marketing experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High initiative, organization, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Professionalism, curiosity, and a clear interest in building a career in service sales

Responsibilities

  • Engage with service clients and prospects to understand needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Create and maintain accurate quotes, proposals, and CRM records
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of booked projects
  • Support service and market research to strengthen proposals and customer recommendations
  • Assist with client reviews, business updates, and service-focused marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to strong communication and alignment between Services, Marketing, and Furniture divisions
  • Complete assigned training milestones and demonstrate consistent progress toward Sales Representative readiness
