About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Services Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate brings strong HRIS expertise with Dayforce, including 2–3 full implementation life cycles, and excels at leading cross-functional teams through complex HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management deployments. This role will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Workstream, supporting strategic alignment, security architecture, interoperability, and broader Human Capital Management (HCM) modernization initiatives. The Project Manager will also collaborate extensively with the Data Conversion Workstream on migration validation and critical Dayforce-specific imports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4+ years of experience in HR, HRIS, or Dayforce environments.
  • Proven success delivering HR/Payroll projects in complex organizational settings.
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise-level project management plans.
  • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, workforce management, data migration, and security compliance.

  • Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders, co-workers, managers and/or clients across the world. Further, our back office support teams, including but not limited to Human Resources, are primarily English speaking. Employees need to be able to communicate with these departments in English to appropriately administer their business relationship. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking co-workers, managers, stakeholders and/or clients, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to support Dayforce solution implementations.
  • Architect Dayforce solutions to meet client, technical, and security requirements.
  • Define project timelines and manage all deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Host weekly project meetings with internal teams, enterprise architects, and client stakeholders.
  • Align project execution with transformation program objectives, ensuring strategic and technical cohesion.
  • Support EA activities related to: Security architecture Data management Technology integration Process optimization Mobile strategy
  • Support implementation of Government of Canada (GC)–approved Digital Identity (ID) and access management solutions.
  • Contribute to the modernization of Canada’s end-to-end Human Capital Management (HCM) Enterprise Architecture by providing Dayforce-specific strategic advice and deliverables.
  • Ensure Dayforce interoperability across systems, data flows, and business processes.
  • Collaborate with security and EA teams to assess impacts from changes in scope, technology, or compliance requirements.
  • Support all activities related to achieving Authority to Operate (ATO), including: Security assessments Penetration testing Vulnerability assessment and remediation
  • Assist in preparing documentation and ensuring adherence to GC security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Conversion Workstream on all Dayforce-related migration activities.
  • Provide subject-matter support for: Benefit Elections Import Record of Employment (ROE) import Year-to-Date (YTD) data imports Etc.
  • Assist with data mapping, cleansing, validation, testing, and troubleshooting across multiple conversion cycles.
  • Ensure data readiness, accuracy, and successful migration outcomes aligned with project milestones.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and direction to project team members.
  • Ensure accountability for deadlines and deliverables across all internal and external partners.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Manage conflict resolution and maintain a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
  • Deliver clear, concise updates to stakeholders, leadership, and governance bodies.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and key decisions requiring senior intervention.
  • Maintain strong written and verbal communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess customer requirements and design effective Dayforce HR/Payroll solutions.
  • Support both functional and technical architecture considerations within the Dayforce ecosystem.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements that enhance security, interoperability, and efficiency.
