About The Position

The ServiceNow System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, system configuration, user management, platform maintenance, data management, training and documentation, and operational support of the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the platform is functioning reliably and efficiently to support IT service management processes across the organization. The Administrator plays a key role in executing ITIL-aligned workflows such as Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management, ensuring that service delivery is consistent and responsive. Please know that we do require each candidate to participate in completing the Epic Sphinx test as part of our consideration process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below)
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification, Required
  • 3+ years of Service Now administration experience, preferably in a healthcare environment, Required
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow architecture, Required

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to ensure stability, performance, and availability
  • Seek assistance when appropriate in order to resolve technical and/or security issues
  • Schedules and executes routing maintenance, including updating the system, patches and upgrades
  • Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and permissions in accordance with organizational policies
  • Monitor the number of user accounts and activity of users to identify and resolve any issues
  • Maintain data integrity across modules including Incident, Request, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management
  • Participate in and support ITIL-aligned change management cycles, including assessing, testing, and implementing approved changes
  • Coordinate and execute platform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Build and deploy required components during new implementations or enhancements, including service catalog items, forms, and notifications
  • Support integration efforts by configuring connectors and ensuring data flow between ServiceNow and other systems
