ServiceNow Solution Architect - CMDB
About The Position
This project team will support key AFS initiatives aimed at enhancing the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to strengthen and sustain AFS security controls. As the Solution Architect (SA), you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow CMDB solution designs. You will work closely with project leadership to interpret requirements, communicate business problems, and design appropriate technical solutions. In addition to solution design, you will support implementation activities, updates to related business processes, and deliver training and education to ensure smooth adoption. This role plays a critical part in improving the accuracy, maturity, and security posture of the CMDB across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting the ServiceNow platform
- Experience designing ServiceNow CMDB solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and workflows
- Strong collaboration skills for working with and presenting to cross‑functional stakeholders
- Experience supporting implementation activities and process improvements
- Experience developing or supporting training for technical or process updates
- US Citizenship required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with government processes or environments
- CIS- CMDB Certification
