About The Position

SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow Project Manager to lead the development of a ServiceNow-based operations management platform for the Navy's Tactical Networks division. This role involves managing a dynamic team and ensuring the successful delivery of project milestones while fostering collaboration and communication among stakeholders. The position is hybrid remote, requiring the candidate to be local to San Diego, CA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of related experience; Master's degree with eight (8) years of related experience.
  • 5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, specifically ITSM and Field Service Management modules.
  • 5 years of experience as a personnel manager, Deputy PM, Technical Lead, or Project Manager on similar contracts.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance.
  • Must have PMP Certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Project, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD Tactical Networks and/or Navy processes.
  • Financial management and Financial Planning experience.
  • Operational or analytic production experience.
  • Knowledge of change management, facilitation, organizational assessment, process modeling, business planning, business process reengineering, consensus building, design and implementation, project management processes, data modeling, and benchmarking/metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to support customer needs and provide creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and implementation of a ServiceNow operations management platform.
  • Oversee the web-platform development process and ensure timely submission of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow Developers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Government Customers.
  • Align the team to program/customer vision and expectations.
  • Define tasks, milestones, and deliverables with project leadership and the development team.
  • Determine resourcing needs and manage resource conflicts.
  • Track the project's critical path and report updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks impacting project delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments.
  • Prepare and facilitate training workshops for users on platform capabilities.
